Shea Butter

• Origin: Sourced from the nuts of shea trees of West Africa, where it has been used for centuries by communities for its healing and nourishing properties.
• Benefits: Shea butter delivers deep hydration, improves skin elasticity, and provides a natural shield against environmental damage. The anti-inflammatory properties soothe irritation and redness, making it ideal for sensitive skin. Its rich texture feels luxurious.
  

Cocoa Butter

• Origin: Derived from cocoa beans, primarily grown in tropical regions of West Africa, Central, and South America.
• Benefits:Renowned for its ability to deeply moisturize and create a protective barrier to lock in hydration.It helps smooth skin texture, and reduces scars and stretch marks. Its natural antioxidants combat free radicals for a youthful glow. Known for its luxurious, silky texture.

Coconut Oil

• Origin: Extracted from the meat of coconuts grown in tropical regions like Southeast Asia, the Philippines, and the Pacific Islands.
• Benefits: Celebrated for its versatility, this natural antibacterial and antifungal ingredient supports healthy skin and deeply conditions the body. Coconut oil softens the skin, locks in moisture, and supports healthy, radiant skin. 
• Coconut oil has a  thicker density, with a high comedogenic rating, which means it can clog pores for your face but okay to use on hair and body. 

Arrowroot Powder

• Origin: Made from the starchy root of the arrowroot plant, traditionally grown in tropical regions such as the Caribbean and South America.
• Benefits: A gentle, natural ingredient that absorbs excess oil, leaving skin soft and velvety. Historically used as a remedy for sensitive or irritated skin due to its calming properties. 

Jojoba Oil

• Origin: Extracted from the seeds of the resilient jojoba plant, native to the deserts of North America, particularly southern Arizona, California, and Mexico.
• Benefits: Closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum, providing balanced hydration, without clogging pores. It absorbs quickly and is great for soothing dry, irritated or acne-prone skin. Rich in vitamins E and B-complex, which aid in skin repair and regeneration.

Rosehip Oil

• Origin: Cold-pressed from the seeds of wild rose bushes, primarily grown in the Andes Mountains in Chile and Argentina.
• Benefits: A powerhouse of vitamins A and C to brighten skin and boost collagen production. Rich in fatty acids, it promotes cell regeneration and reduces the appearance of scars and fine lines and pigmentation. This antioxidant packed oil protects the skin from environmental damage and offers a youthful glow. A hero ingredient. 

Vitamin E

• Origin: Naturally derived from plant-based oils, nuts, and seeds, with sources including sunflower seeds and wheat germ.
• Benefits: A potent antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals, improves hydration, and repairs damaged skin. Reduces scars and supports an even skin tone, while protecting the skin from premature aging. It is commonly used in formulations to stabilise the product. 

Rice Bran Oil

• Origin: Extracted from the outer layer of rice grains, commonly grown in Asian countries such as Japan, Thailand, and India.
• Benefits: A miracle worker. Lightweight yet non greasy, penetrates deeply into the skin to hydrate and soften the skin. Rice Bran Oil is rich in antioxidants like tocopherol and oryzanol, which protect against UV damage and combat free radicals. It improves skin texture, leaving it super radiant and glowing.

Chia Seed Oil

• Origin: Cold-pressed from chia seeds, treasured by ancient Aztecs and grown in Central and South America.
• Benefits: Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and minerals, it nourishes and calms the skin. Improves elasticity, reduces inflammation, and locks in moisture for a supple and plump complexion.

Macadamia Nut Oil

• Origin: Extracted from macadamia nuts, native to the rich soils of  Australia but also cultivated in Hawaii and South Africa.
• Benefits: It’s easily absorbed, deeply hydrating oil with palmitoleic acid that supports skin repair and renewal. Lightweight and non-greasy, it enhances smoothness and restores softness, while suitable for all skin types. Don’t use if you have allergies however!  Macadamia nut oil helps restore smoothness and softness, great for aging or sun damaged skin.

Avocado Oil

• Origin: Extracted from the pulp of avocados, primarily grown in Mexico and South America.

Benefits: A luxurious oil packed with vitamins A, D, and E, to nourish and rejuvenate the skin.  It soothes irritation and dry skin, boosts collagen production, and provides long-lasting hydration and comfort for radiant skin. Great for sensitive skin such as eczema or psoriasis
